Vitamin B6-Hevert ampoules in detail
VITAMIN B6-HEVERT® ampoules are a solution for injection developed for the treatment of vitamin B6 deficiency. The active substance in each ampoule is 25 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride, supplemented with excipients such as sodium chloride and water for injection. This solution is intended for patients for whom oral absorption of vitamin B6 is not possible.
Application:
The ampoules are typically administered once daily as an intramuscular or intravenous injection, unless the doctor recommends a different dosage.
Ingredients:
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 25 mg per 2 ml ampoule
- Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide solution, water for injection
Contraindications:
VITAMIN B6-HEVERT® ampoules should not be used in case of known allergy to pyridoxine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.
Side effects:
No side effects are known in the usual dose range. However, overdoses can lead to neurological symptoms.
Advice:
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be after consultation with a doctor, as vitamin B6 can pass into breast milk.
