The Intradyn introducer set from B. Braun has a haemostatic valve that prevents blood reflux. The stepless attachment enables easy insertion of the catheter. The tube connection has a mounted three-way stopcock, which enables the connection of infusion solutions and the injection of medication.


The basic sets for intensive care medicine include:

  • Intradyn puncture cannula Ø 1.3 x 63.5 mm (18 G)
  • Guide wire, 70 cm, Ø 0.035"/0.89 mm flexible J3 tip with insertion aid or flexible, straight tip
  • Inserter sets 6F to 8F
  • Vascular dilator, 205 mm made of FEP
  • Introducer sheath, 115 mm made of PUR
  • Hemostatic valve
