Blood coagulation measurement with the CoaguChek XS test strips is only possible with fresh capillary blood from the fingertip or venous whole blood. If anticoagulants or other corresponding substances have been added to the blood, no measurement may be carried out. About 10 µl of blood is required for the measurement, which must be applied to the test strip either from above or from both sides. The result can be read off the screen after one minute.
Note: Please be careful when disposing of the outer packaging to avoid accidentally throwing away the code chip.
