A selection of accessories is available for the Veri-Q-Red haemoglobin meter to further optimise use and functionality:
- Test strips (50 pcs.): These special test strips enable precise measurements and are available in a practical pack of 50
- PC connection cable: A connection cable that allows the Veri-Q-Red haemoglobin meter to be connected to a computer to transfer and store data
- Thermal printer: A compatible thermal printer that offers the option of printing measurement results directly, for easy and efficient documentation
- Lang-o-trol control blood, 3 x 2 ml each (levels 1, 2 and 3):These control blood samples in different levels are used to regularly check and calibrate the haemoglobin meter to ensure the accuracy of the measurements
The Veri-Q-Red haemoglobin meter itself is ideal for professional point-of-care diagnostics and provides accurate readings in just 5 seconds. It is light and handy, requires only 7 µl of whole blood sample material and has a measuring range of 5-25 g/dl. The device weighs 51 g without batteries and measures 5.5 x 9 x 2 cm. Battery operated with 2 1.5 volt alkaline batteries, one charge is sufficient for about 1000 measurements. The working temperature is 10 °C to 40 °C, with deviations of less than 3 %. Matching test strips are available separately.
