- Semi-automatic with automatic heart rhythm detection: After the adhesive electrodes have been applied, software in the Zoll® AED 3 BLS defibrillator automatically analyzes the heart rhythm. If ventricular fibrillation or a threatening cardiac arrhythmia is detected, the device activates defibrillation. You must press the shock button yourself.
- Cardiac massage assistant: Real CPR Help technology helps first responders perform first-class resuscitation. The electrodes have sensors, so it gives you visual feedback on the display and audible feedback on the frequency and depth of compressions. Additionally, a metronome is built in.
- Shock analysis during chest compressions: Already during manual chest compressions, the device analyzes whether another shock should be performed and loads while you are still performing your chest compressions. As a result, hands-off times as short as three seconds can be achieved, increasing the chances of survival by 10-15 percent. In comparison, hands-off times for other devices are 20-25 seconds.
- ECG Display: The display shows the patient's ECG to assess rhythm and heart rate.
- Automatic self-tests for monitoring the functionality: Thanks to the PlusTrac program, the device can be connected to the local WLAN network and always reports the current status. Should a self-test of the Zoll® AED 3 BLS detects a defect, you will be contacted directly. When purchasing the device, the PlusTrac license is included free of charge for one year.
