It is also known as hydrochloric acid and acidum hydrochloricum. The solution contains 4 % hydrochloric acid and is produced from hydrochloric acid according to the specifications of Ph. Eur. The CAS number is 7647-01-0, the EC number is 231-595-7 and the EC index number is 017-002-00-2. The storage class is 8B and the UN number is 1789.
