How to use?
Gargle with the medicine.
Or: Rinse the oral cavity with the medicine.
Allow the medicine to work for 1 minute. Then spit out the medicine and avoid swallowing it. Immediately before use, you should brush your teeth and rinse the oral cavity thoroughly to avoid discoloration of the teeth. The product should only be used if safe handling of the medicine is guaranteed.
For dentures: Rinse the object with the medicine. Leave it to work for 5 minutes.
Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for a prolonged period without medical advice.
Overdosage?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdose symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
Storage before opening
The medicine must

What are the arguments against using it?
Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Poor blood circulation in the gums and oral mucosa
- Wounds in the oral mucosa, both deep and more superficial (scaling) wounds
- Ulcers of the oral mucosa
Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:

Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 6 years of age: The medicine must not be used.
- Children under 12 years of age: The medicinal product may only be used after consultation with a doctor or under medical supervision.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist. They will check your particular situation and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with the use of a contraindication.what adverse effects can occur?

- Caution in case of allergy to chlorhexidine!
- The medicine contains small amounts of alcohol and should therefore be avoided by alcoholics.
- Caution in case of allergy to colorants (e.g. tartrazine (E 102), yellow-orange S (E 110), azorubine (E 122), amaranth (E 123) and Ponceau 4R (E 124)).
- Caution in case of allergy to Peru balsam and cinnamon.
- Solubilizers (e.g. poly(oxyethylene) castor oils) may cause stomach upset and diarrhoea.
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient kills various bacteria by destroying the cell wall of the microorganisms. In this way, it keeps the skin and mucous membranes germ-free, i.e. disinfects them. However, the effect diminishes after prolonged use.
Application
- Reducing the number of germs on mucous membranes, such as in the case of:- inflammation of the gums (gingivitis)- inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis)- oral care with limited feasibility, e.g. after jaw surgery or when wearing dentures or braces
