Doc Ibuprofen pain gel 5% in detail

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Massage the medicine in afterwards. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the disease. The recommended duration of use is 2-3 weeks.

Overdosing?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdosage symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.

Storage before opening
The medicine must be stored away from heat.
Storage after opening or preparation
The medicinal product may be used for a maximum of 30 months after opening/preparation!

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient belongs to a group of substances that are effective against pain as well as inflammation and can reduce fever. All three effects are primarily based on the inhibition of an endogenous substance called prostaglandin. This substance must be present as a messenger substance so that pain can be felt, inflammatory reactions can be started or the body temperature can be raised.
