Method of use?

Take the medicine with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Duration of use?

You should not use the medicine for longer than 3 days without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

Overdose?

A variety of overdose symptoms may occur, including nausea, vomiting, sweating, drowsiness and hepatic coma. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

If you have forgotten to take the medicine?

Continue taking it as normal (i.e. not double the prescribed amount) at the next prescribed time.
As a general rule, make sure that you take the dose carefully, especially with infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

- Impaired liver function (e.g.B. due to chronic alcohol abuse or liver inflammation)
- Alcohol abuse
- Impaired kidney function
- Gilbert's syndrome (Meulengracht's disease)
- Hereditary enzyme disorder (glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase deficiency)
- Anaemia due to rapid breakdown of red blood cells (haemolytic anaemia)
- Glutathione deficiency
- Dehydration
- Malnutrition
Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 4 years of age: The medicine should generally not be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or dosage form.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: According to current knowledge, there is no evidence that the medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

What you should be aware of?

- In case of pain or fever, do not use for longer than specified in the package leaflet without medical advice!
- Prolonged use of painkillers can cause headaches, which are produced by the painkiller. Talk to your doctor to prevent your headaches from becoming chronic.
- The habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage. If several painkillers are combined or if one painkiller contains several active ingredients, the risk of this increases.
- Caution: Regular or heavy alcohol consumption can lead to life-threatening effects due to possible liver damage.
- Caution in case of allergy to painkillers!
- Caution in case of allergy to binding agents (e.g. carboxymethylcellulose with the E number E 466)!

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties. It blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, known as prostaglandins. These are significantly involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.

Application

- Mild to moderate pain, such as:

- Headache

- Period pain

- Toothache

- Fever

- 1/2 tablet

- 1-4 times daily

- Children aged 4-8 years with 17-25 kg body weight

- at 6-hour intervals, regardless of meal

- 1/2 tablet

- 1-6 times daily (max. 3 tablets)

- Children aged 8-11 years with a body weight of 26-32 kg

- 6 hours apart, regardless of meal time

- 1 tablet

- 1-4 times daily

- Children aged 11-12 years with a body weight of 33-43 kg

- 6 hours apart, regardless of the meal

- 1-2 tablets1-4 times daily

- adolescents from 12 years and adults from 43 kg body weight

- at intervals of 6 hours, regardless of the meal
