Tromcardin® complex
Tromcardin complex contains potassium, magnesium, vitamins and Q10 for the dietary treatment of heart disease, especially cardiac arrhythmia.
At rest, our heart beats about 60 times a minute, pumping about 5 litres of blood through our body. This distributes the blood throughout the body and supplies our cells with oxygen and nutrients. Our heart does an impressive job every day, especially under increased stress. Over the course of a lifetime, the heart beats around 3 billion times, so it's no wonder that it sometimes gets out of sync.
Cardiovascular diseases occur relatively frequently. Around 21% of the population in Germany are affected, which corresponds to around 17 million people (survey by Kantar Health, 2015). One of the most common disorders is an irregular heart rate, in particular the occurrence of additional heartbeats (extrasystoles) outside the normal rhythm.
Electrolyte imbalances, particularly a lack of potassium and magnesium, are often the cause of cardiac arrhythmia (palpitations/stumbling). A balanced electrolyte balance is essential for a regular heartbeat. The electrolytes potassium and magnesium in particular play an important role in the excitation of the heart. The right ratio of potassium and magnesium "stabilises" the heart electrically and enables a regular heartbeat.
