Green Tara - protector from danger
Green Tara is a revered deity who is considered a protector from all dangers. Whether day or night, she is always ready to intervene in a protective and supportive manner.
She embodies female divinity and her name means both "star" and "saviour". In Tibet, she is referred to as "Dölma", which simply means "mother". She is regarded there as the mother of all Buddhas.
The Green Tara is made of brass and is 6 cm high. Her weight is 70 g. Her right hand is in a downward gesture of granting wishes, while her left hand shows the gesture of granting protection.
