This test can be used to detect myoglobin, CK-MB and troponin I in acute coronary syndrome/myocardial infarction. The test is ideal for immediate diagnostics, as derived therapeutic measures can be implemented promptly. 

What the heart markers reveal:

Myoglobin (heart attack diagnostics):

  • Early diagnosis and reinfarction
  • acute myocardial infarction can be ruled out

CK-MB (heart attack diagnostics):

  • Frühdiagnosis
  • Monitoring thrombolytic therapy
  • Prognosis assessment for unstable angina pectoris

Troponin l:

  • Diagnosis and course of acute myocardial infarction
  • Success monitoring of thrombolytic therapy
  • Prognosis assessment in unstable angina pectoris
  • Diagnosis of small myocardial necrosis v.especially myocardial damage (e.g. perioperative myocardial infarction)
