Dräger Venturi mask set O2-Star® in detail
Venturi masks are equipped with a special valve that utilises the Bernoulli principle to administer a predetermined and set oxygen concentration to the patient. This is not influenced by the patient's breathing pattern. The oxygen concentration can be gradually adjusted in the range 24 to 50 % (adjustable valve) or 60 % (fixed valve). It is also possible to humidify the oxygen - simply connect the humidification cap and inhalation tube included in the set. Choose between the fixed or adjustable valve. With the adjustable valve, the oxygen concentration can be changed during ongoing therapy without interruption. The fixed valve is supplied in 6 different colour-coded levels (24%, 28%, 31%, 35%, 49%, 60%). The masks are available in sizes S and M/L.
