The Complete Stoma Care Simulator is the ideal solution to enable you to demonstrate and practise stoma care procedures. In this simulator, the anatomy of the stoma has been carefully reproduced to give you a lifelike function and appearance. The skin of the simulator is made of realistic, lifelike material and a soft, flexible material has been used for the stomas to give you the most realistic feel possible.
With this simulator, you can demonstrate and practice the dilation of the stoma, as well as the application of post-operative and permanent stoma bags. You have the opportunity to practise fitting, cleaning and changing the pouching system. The simulator is equipped with three different positions to offer you different stomas. You can practise the healthy stoma, the double-barrelled stoma, the prolapsed stoma and the necrotic stoma.
The model of the simulator has a retractable stoma so that you can practise caring for a stoma that has sunk below skin level.
Included with the simulator are the simulator itself, four stomas, artificial stool, stoma bag, lubricant, a syringe with tubing system, a stand, gloves and infected tissue.
The simulator measures 35.5 x 30.5 x 10 cm and weighs 4.6 kg.
