The horse foot consists of three bones: the fetlock bone, the coronet bone and the coffin bone. Normally, the coffin bone is surrounded by a hoof, but this is not included in this model. No ligaments, tendons, articular cartilage or supporting tissue, which are further components of the complex structure of the horse's foot, have been depicted either.
