Erler Zimmer pregnancy series, 9 models in detail
This special series of models was developed in collaboration with a German midwifery school. It consists of a total of 9 models, including 8 life-size individual models and one enlarged model. The series shows the development of the foetus from the 4th to the 24th week of pregnancy. All important structures of the uterus and the embryo/foetus are depicted in detail and are labelled in the enclosed instructions.
The following models are included:
- Embryo, 4 weeks, enlarged
- Embryo in utero, 4 weeks
- Embryo in utero, 8 weeks
- Fetus in utero, 12 weeks
- Fetus in utero, 16 weeks
- Fetus in utero, 24 weeks
- Fetus in utero, in transverse position, 24 weeks
- Twins in utero, with 2 separate placentas, 16 weeks
- Twins in utero, with a shared placenta, 16 weeks
Each model is mounted on a stand and can be removed. Some of the models can also be partially disassembled.
The pregnancy series offers you a clear illustration of the development of the foetus and uterus during the different weeks of pregnancy. It is a valuable teaching aid for midwives and medical students.
