Innovative pocket otoscope
This innovative pocket otoscope offers a variety of functions that allow you to perform a precise and comfortable examination. With its LED ring with 2x4 concentric LEDs, it provides excellent illumination that can be switched at the touch of a button. Unlike conventional otoscopes, there are no fibre optics, so you don't have a restricted field of view. It is also protected by the DE202013104278U1 patent.
Another advantage of this otoscope is its maintenance-free function, as no lamp replacement is required. The LEDs have a service life of approx. 100,000 hours and are optimally operated thanks to constant current control. The colour temperature can be adjusted between circuit 1 (approx. 3,000 K) and circuit 2 (approx. 6,000 K) to ensure the best viewing conditions.
The design of the head section has been optimised to ensure easy handling. In addition, the otoscope has a swivelling 3x magnifying loupe with click-stop function to enable a detailed examination. A blower connection for pneumatic tests is also available.
The otoscope handle is made of a combination of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic and offers excellent stability and durability. The electronic ON/OFF push button allows for easy operation. The otoscope is supplied with 2 AAA alkaline batteries.
The scope of delivery also includes 20 disposable ear funnels (10 x 2.5 mm and 10 x 4.0 mm each), which enable a hygienic examination. The otoscope can also be combined with the LuxaScope dermatoscope CCT LED head to perform even more versatile examinations.
