Description:

The THERMO-PAD is perfect for training in search and rescue with a thermal imaging camera. It has been specially developed to be used with the CRASH & CARRY or CRASH JUNIOR manikin. Attaching and activating the pad is child's play.

Preparation and activation:

The self-adhesive THERMO-PADs can be attached to the manikin in just a few seconds. The THERMO-PAD is automatically activated as soon as the vacuum packaging is opened. By reacting with the oxygen in the air, it develops a clearly visible heat radiation after about 20 minutes, which can be recognised with a thermal imaging camera. The THERMO-PAD heats up to a temperature of approx. 50°C.

Duration of use and disposal:

At an ambient temperature of 20°C, the THERMO-PAD can be used for at least 4 hours. After a single use, the THERMO-PAD can simply be disposed of with household waste.
