Zoll® AED 3 Trainer in detail


The Zoll® AED 3 Trainer is a training defibrillator which hardly differs in appearance from the "real" AED 3 defibrillator and thus enables realistic training. The instructor can switch between semi-automatic and fully automatic modes and choose from 4 different case scenarios. In addition to the adult mode, there is also a button to switch to the pediatric mode. Furthermore, volume, supporting instructions and CPR feedback can be regulated by the instructor.


To use the Zoll® AED 3 Trainer no remote control is necessary. Pausing the exercise is possible at any time by pressing the pause button on the defibrillator.

Who may purchase an AED?

There are no legal restrictions on purchasing an AED. Both individuals and legal entities are eligible to purchase an AED. The operation of an AED is regulated by the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV).
