Zoll® AED Universal electrodes in detail
The color LCD display on an Zoll® defibrillator shows vivid graphics that correspond to the adhesive pads to assist in proper electrode placement for adults, even for non-experts.
Inadequate compression rate and depth are common during resuscitation. Adult patients require 100 to 120 compressions per minute and a pressure depth of 5 to 6 cm. Thoracic compressions must be performed well to effectively deliver oxygenated blood to the heart and brain.
Zoll® devices can evaluate resuscitation quality thanks to these advanced electrodes (pads), providing real-time voice and visual feedback to best guide the first responder during resuscitation. It is said: "Press deeper" if the pressure depth would be insufficient and also said "Cardiac massage good" if the resuscitation quality is sufficient.
