Product description & operating principle
- Hydrostatic functional principle: water-filled bite pads compensate for pressure asymmetries, relax the jaw and masticatory muscles and bring the lower jaw into a physiologically favourable position.
- Self-aligning immediate splint: can be used directly for diagnosis and initial treatment of CMD/TMD without individual adjustment.
The Aqualizer is a bite splint that can be used immediately for the short-term treatment of functional disorders in the jaw area (myoarthropathy). The water-filled system equalises jaw misalignments and brings the muscles into a relaxed position. The hydrostatic principle of action enables an even distribution of pressure, which can noticeably alleviate tension, one-sided strain and typical CMD complaints.

- Transition to a permanent splint: The determined jaw position can be used by the dentist for a permanent bite splint.
Unsure about the right size?
The medium bite height (approx. 2 mm) is the standard size and is recommended for around 90 % of patients. It is particularly suitable for users without special requirements and offers a balanced combination of wearing comfort and therapeutic effect.
