Aqualizer bite splint - immediate initial treatment for CMD
The Aqualizer bite splint offers a self-aligning, water-filled immediate splint for short-term relief of temporomandibular joint and muscle complaints (CMD/TMD). The hydrostatic principle equalises pressure asymmetries, reduces tension and promotes a more relaxed jaw position.
Application & instructions
The splint can be used directly for diagnostics and initial treatment without adjustment. Flexible wearing time during the day or at night; inconspicuous behind the upper lip. Consult a dentist or specialist if symptoms persist.

Anwendung
Anwendung & Pflegehinweise
- Einsetzen: In den Oberkiefer einsetzen, mittig ausrichten, sanft auf die Bisspolster beißen – keine kauende Bewegung nötig.
- Tragedauer: Bis zu 8 Stunden pro Tag, typischerweise nachts oder ergänzend am Tag.
- Lebensdauer: Ca. 2–3 Wochen bei normaler Nutzung (bei starkem Knirschen entsprechend kürzer).
- Pflege & Lagerung: Tägliche Reinigung mit Wasser und milder Seife. Für längere Lagerung im Gefrierfach aufbewahren, um Wasserverlust zu vermeiden.
- Wichtiger Hinweis: Nicht geeignet bei starkem Würgereiz oder fehlenden Seitenzähnen – nur unter zahnärztlicher Anleitung verwenden.
