Blue Dafilon suture material strength 5/0 (USP) for closures close to the skin. Monofilament, uncoated nylon threads made of polyamide 6/6.6 for high tensile strength and good tissue pull-through. Suitable for surgical skin closures and fine surgical applications.
Application & instructions
Intended use: surgical suture material for skin closures (intracutaneous, subcutaneous, skin). Check for integrity before use and ensure sterile working conditions. Tear strength may gradually decrease over a long period of time due to progressive hydrolysis; if in doubt, refer to technical data sheets or manufacturer's instructions.
