Histoacryl® Octyl is a highly viscous tissue adhesive based on 2-octyl cyanoacrylate for atraumatic wound closure of small, cleanly prepared skin wounds. The transparent, angled application tip enables controlled, precise application in the clinic and practice.
Application & instructions
The adhesive is applied thinly to the approximated wound edges and quickly polymerises to form a flexible film. After complete polymerisation, the treated area can be covered with another dressing. Follow the package leaflet and consult a doctor if you are unsure.
