    B. Braun Novosyn® Quick suture material in detail

    Novosyn® Quick is a short-term reiable, absorbable, synthetic, braided suture material. It consists of a copolymer of 90 % glycolide and 10 % L-lactide. It is particularly suitable for the following indications:

    • Episiotomies (gynaecology)
    • Phimosis (urology)
    • Mucous membranes in oral and maxillofacial surgery

    About 5 days after implantation, 50% of the original friction force is still present. Complete resorption occurs after around 42 days through hydrolysis.
