SCHILLER Defibrillation Electrodes for Children - compatible with FRED easyport, PA-1 and easyport plus
The SCHILLER pediatric electrodes are specially designed single-use defibrillation electrodes for pediatric use. They are intended for infants and children up to 8 years or up to 25 kg body weight and offer optimized size and adhesive properties for pediatric resuscitation.
Features and Technical Data
The pediatric electrodes have an active electrode area adapted to the child's thorax (42 cm2) and an integrated electrode cable with a length of 1.60 m. The connection is made via the small plug intended for the FRED easyport device family and compatible SCHILLER defibrillators. As soon as the pediatric electrodes are connected to the defibrillator, the device automatically recognizes them and reduces the energy output to a level appropriate for children. A positioning guide is printed on the packaging and the electrodes themselves. The typical shelf life is 2 to 3 years.

Application Area
The pediatric electrodes are intended for external defibrillation and ECG monitoring in pediatric emergencies. They are used in hospitals, pediatric practices, emergency services, and in pre-hospital emergency use. For children, the placement is anterior-posterior: one electrode on the chest and one on the back.
Important information
Intended for single-use only - do not reuse. Only connect original SCHILLER adhesive electrodes to the device. Use defibrillation electrodes only until the indicated expiration date. Use within 1 day after opening the packaging. Do not fold packaging. Contains no latex.
The connector plugs of the FRED easy and FRED easyport models are different. Ensure the correct electrode set is used for the respective device model.
For children 8 years and older or over 25 kg, adult electrodes should be used.
The regulations regarding the use of defibrillators differ from country to country. The applicable legal requirements must be observed.
