Product details & mandatory information
The CryoPen X+ from H&O Equipments is a cryosurgery device for the targeted freezing of benign skin changes. The device operates with nitrous oxide (N₂O) and reaches temperatures as low as -89 °C. A fine high-pressure jet (49-53 bar) allows for millimeter-precise application of the cryogen directly onto the lesion.
Features of the CryoPen X+
The CryoPen X+ comes with 6 different applicators for various lesion sizes ranging from 1 to 20 mm. Two extended 60-mm applicators enable treatment of hard-to-reach areas. An included converter allows the use of both 8 g and 16 g N₂O cartridges. The device is ready for use immediately and requires no pre-cooling. After puncturing, the pressure in the cartridge is maintained for several weeks.
With correct application, the device does not touch the lesion or the skin. The applicators can be autoclaved if necessary (134 °C for 4 minutes or 121 °C for 20 minutes). The expected lifespan of the instrument is at least 10 years with normal use.
Field of Application
The CryoPen X+ is suitable for the cryogenic treatment of the following benign skin lesions: acrochordon (fibroma), actinic keratosis and cheilitis, capillary hemangioma, cutaneous leishmaniasis, discoid lupus erythematosus, filiform warts, flat warts, common warts, plantar warts, anogenital warts, rosacea, lichen sclerosus, granuloma annulare, molluscum contagiosum, seborrheic keratosis, and viral lesions.
Typical user groups include general practitioners, dermatologists, gynecologists, urologists, dentists, and veterinarians.
Anwendung
