Erler Zimmer Osteoporosis in detail
This model consists of three lumbar vertebrae cut in the centre and containing intervertebral discs. A healthy bone structure is shown on one side of the upper vertebra, while an osteoporotic bone structure can be seen on the other side of the middle vertebra. The lowest vertebra shows advanced osteoporosis with depressed top and base plates. Each vertebra can be removed individually from the stand. The model is full-size and measures 16 cm.
