The Airway Larry Adult Airway Management Trainer is an adult intubation trainer that allows you to practice oral and nasal intubation of a non-anaesthetised patient. This manikin provides anatomical structures such as teeth, tongue, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, lungs, oesophagus and stomach.
You have the opportunity to perform the following exercises:
- Oral, digital and nasal intubation
- Use of an endotracheal tube
- Use of an oesophageal obturator
- Use of a double lumen tube
- Use of a Combitube
- Practising suction and ventilation techniques
- Implanting a cuff
- Practising the Sellick manoeuvre
By applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage, the position of the trachea can be changed and the oesophagus closed, allowing the Sellick manoeuvre to be practised realistically. There is also a manual carotid pulse. The manikin is mounted on a basic full-body CPR training model so that both CPR and airway management can be practised with this manikin. The set includes lubricating spray and disposable airways.
This model can also be used with the CPR Metrix display system.
