It includes all the features needed to practice CPR, airway management, IV arm and leg procedures, intraosseous infusion and umbilical cannulation. With its high tactile and visual fidelity, this model offers one of the most realistic training opportunities for trainee paediatric emergency physicians, nurses and paramedics at any level of training.
The CRiSis manikin is the most comprehensive paediatric advanced life support trainer on the market. On this manikin you can perform a 4-lead ECG, give IV therapy, catheterise the umbilical cord vessels, keep the airway open, perform intraosseous infusion and practice CPR - all on one model! The unique chest skin with umbilical cord allows you to practice umbilical catheterisation techniques, including cutting and clamping. Fluid can be aspirated through the umbilicus to create an incredibly realistic training experience.
The IV arm and IV leg allow realistic practice of venipuncture in infants. The IV arm gives you access to the cephalic and basilic veins as well as the venous arch of the back of the hand. On the IV leg, you have access to the saphenous veins and the venous arch of the back of the foot. You can practise intraosseous infusion on one leg. The life-size and detailed head allows you to practise keeping the airway open in babies. The model is supplied with a sturdy transport and storage case and weighs 10 kg.
