The new generation of calcium alginate wound dressings with silver
Suprasorb® A+Ag Pro represents the next stage in the development of calcium alginate wound dressings. This advanced solution combines calcium alginate fibres and silver alginate fibres with cellulose fibres, which significantly improve the performance and stability of the product.
The cellulose fibres play a central role in effective exudate management. They support wound healing and autolytic debridement by efficiently absorbing excess fluid from the wound. This not only leads to an improved healing environment, but also facilitates the removal of the dressing in one piece, which simplifies application and increases treatment safety.
Suprasorb® A+Ag Pro is specifically designed to reduce the number of pathogens* and is therefore particularly suitable for infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection - including infections with MRSA or VRE*.

  • Calcium alginate fibre
  • Cellulose fibre
  • Silver alginate fibre (1.5% ionic silver)
