The innovative pocket-sized otoscope is a practical device for examining the ear. It has an LED ring with 6 LEDs arranged concentrically. This lighting technology ensures optimum illumination without restricting the field of vision.
The otoscope is maintenance-free as no bulb replacement is required. The LEDs have a service life of around 100,000 hours and are operated by a constant current control. The illuminance is approx. 10,000 lux and the colour temperature approx. 4,000 K.
The head of the otoscope has an optimised design and is equipped with a swivelling 3x magnifying glass. This has a click-stop function to enable a precise examination. The otoscope also has a connection for a pneumatic test and a 2-component handle made of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic, which can be combined.
The otoscope can also be used with the LuxaScope LED dermatoscope and ophthalmoscope head. It has an electronic ON/OFF pressure switch and is supplied with 2 x AAA alkaline batteries. In addition, 20 disposable ear funnels in grey are included, 10 x 2.5 mm and 10 x 4.0 mm each.
