Innovative otoscope in a handy pocket size
The innovative pocket-sized otoscope is equipped with an LED ring consisting of 6 concentric LED lights. In contrast to conventional fibre optics, this otoscope offers an unrestricted field of vision. It is also protected by DE202013104278U1.
A major advantage is that the otoscope is maintenance-free, as no lamp replacement is required. The LEDs have a service life of around 100,000 hours and, thanks to the constant current control, the illuminance is around 10,000 lux. The colour temperature is approx. 4,200 K.
The head of the otoscope has been optimised and has a swivelling 3x magnifying glass with a click-stop function. There is also a blower connection for pneumatic tests.
The handle of the otoscope is made of a combination of aluminium and glass fibre-reinforced plastic and allows for comfortable handling. The otoscope can also be combined with LuxaScope LED dermatoscopes and ophthalmoscopes.
The otoscope has an electronic ON/OFF pressure switch for operation. The otoscope can be operated with the 3.7 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery included in the scope of delivery. A charger with USB plug is also included and is supplied with EU/UK/US adapters.
In addition, 20 grey disposable ear funnels are supplied, 10 each in the sizes 2.5 mm and 4.0 mm.
