The direct ophthalmoscope in a handy pocket size is a high-quality diagnostic tool for ophthalmologists. It has a correction range of +20 to -20 D, which makes it possible to correct various visual defects. With the 5 different apertures - crosshair, large circle, small circle, semi-circle and green filter - you can adjust the illumination and improve the view of the eye. The LED illumination is dimmable and enables customised, glare-free brightness for the patient. The ophthalmoscope has an automatic switch-off function after 3 minutes to save energy. The LEDs have a service life of approx. 50,000 hours and are protected by a constant current control. The colour temperature is 4,200 K, which enables a natural representation of the eye. The ophthalmoscope's optimised head offers an improved view and the handle made of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic is comfortable to hold. You can also combine the ophthalmoscope head with the LuxaScope LED otoscope and dermatoscope head. The ophthalmoscope is supplied with 2 AAA alkaline batteries, which are included in the scope of delivery.
