Direct ophthalmoscope in a handy pocket size
Our direct ophthalmoscope is compact and lightweight and perfect for travelling. It has a correction range of +20 to -20 D, allowing you to set different visual acuities. You can choose from 5 different apertures, including a crosshair, a large circle, a small circle, a semi-circle and a green filter. The LED illumination is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness individually to ensure glare-free lighting for the patient.
The ophthalmoscope has a practical automatic switch-off function that switches it off automatically after 3 minutes to save the batteries. The LEDs have a service life of approx. 50,000 hours thanks to the constant current control. The colour temperature is 4,200 K, which provides natural lighting.
The ophthalmoscope has also been optimised in terms of its design to ensure comfortable use. The handle is made of a combination of aluminium and glass fibre reinforced plastic and can also be combined with the LuxaScope LED otoscope and dermatoscope head.
The ophthalmoscope has an electronic ON/OFF push switch for easy operation. It is powered by 2 AAA alkaline batteries, which are included in the scope of delivery.
