The solidly crafted double-headed chestpiece made of stainless steel is ideal for demanding diagnostics in practices and clinics. It enables examinations at the highest level and is perfectly suited for auscultation of both higher-frequency sounds with the membrane and lower-frequency sounds with the funnel. The funnel function can be used thanks to the simple removal of the small diaphragm.
The high-quality mechanism weighs 160 g and was manufactured from solid material using CNC milling technology. The large diaphragm has a diameter of 39 mm, while the diameter of the small diaphragm or funnel is 32 mm. The stethoscope has a total length of 77 cm.
The excellent sound characteristics are made possible by the optimum mass ratio between the sound body and the Vibrason diaphragm. The switchable stethoscope therefore covers the entire frequency spectrum perfectly.
The diaphragm holder ring is made of light metal and has a SOFTFEEL coating that feels pleasant on the skin. The fine thread makes it easy to change the Vibrason diaphragm, while wear-prone plastic has been dispensed with.
The ear hooks are made of black anodised stainless steel and the movable SOFTBUDS ear tips are made of soft silicone. Thanks to their sound-insulating design, they enable high-intensity hearing. Thanks to the soft material on the outside, they are very comfortable to wear. The optimum seal reduces ambient noise and ensures optimum sound transmission. The internal plastic body prevents accidental blocking of the sound path during head movements. The scope of delivery includes 1 pair each of sizes S, M and L, which can be easily exchanged.
The design of the stethoscope ensures that there are virtually no dirt pockets between the membrane retaining ring and the chest piece, which makes cleaning quick and easy. It is also latex and nickel-free.
