In Russia in particular, small-flowered willowherb is valued and drunk as a man's tea. As it often grows close to houses, people used to believe that it had a lightning protection effect and were happy to see the plant, which is also known as fireweed. Our willowherb is grown, dried and packaged in bulk by the Zach family in Gebharts.
