Detailed product description
The Suprasorb A+AG calcium alginate dressing reduces the bacterial load in the wound bed and is suitable for infected wounds or wounds at direct risk of infection. Also for new infections with MRSA or VRE. The Suprasorb A+AG has a soft, conformable wound cover that adapts well to any base. This dressing is also suitable for heavily exuding wounds. On contact with exudate, the dressing forms a gel in which bacteria and germs are absorbed. This creates a moist wound environment and the wound can be kept clean as a result.
