The Weinmann oxygen reservoir for the COMBIBAG resuscitator is an accessory that has been specially developed for emergency situations. It can be found in positions 14 - 17 on the exploded view of the resuscitation bag.
In certain emergencies, it is necessary to use higher oxygen concentrations than those present in the ambient air (21% by volume). The COMBIBAG resuscitator allows ventilation with any oxygen concentration above the ambient level. At oxygen concentrations of up to 48%, oxygen can be supplied directly via the suction nozzle. For higher concentrations, an oxygen reservoir or demand valve can be used.
