Product details & mandatory information
Suprasorb P PU foam dressing with gentle silicone adhesive layer self-adhesive
Detailed product description
The Suprasorb foam dressing is a real all-rounder in wound care. It absorbs wound exudate quickly and safely. The fine-pored PU foam can develop a very good capillary effect directly on the wound bed. The material adapts to the wound bed and the wound contact layer has a gentle effect on vulnerable surfaces and healing wounds. The semi-permeable PU carrier layer maintains an ideally moist wound environment. The dressing is bacteria- and waterproof*, as well as stable even after absorbing liquids, and when dry, the Suprasorb foam dressing can be ideally tailored to the individual wound size. The dressing should overlap the wound edges by approx. 20 mm. It can also be used as a secondary dressing for wounds at risk of infection as part of regular antimicrobial therapy. The dressing change is determined by the attending physician depending on the wound condition, degree of exudation and secondary dressing. However, it should be changed after 5-7 days at the latest.
