Definition of incontinence

Incontinence is a medical concept that describes the loss of control over the excretion of urine or stool. For many people, this can be an extremely stressful and unpleasant problem and significantly impair their quality of life. Incontinence often occurs in older people, but is not due to age and can also occur among younger people. There are different types of incontinence, including stress incontinence, urge incontinence and mixed incontinence. Stress incontinence occurs when the pressure on the bladder is increased, for example when sneezing, coughing or lifting heavy objects. Urge incontinence occurs when the sudden and strong urge to empty bladder cannot be controlled. Mixed incontinence is a combination of both shapes. Fortunately, there are various drugs that can be used to treat incontinence. These drugs should relieve the symptoms by relaxing the bladder muscles or increasing the bladder capacity. The exact choice of drug depends on the type of incontinence, individual symptoms and other factors. It is important to receive a precise diagnosis from a doctor and take the medication in accordance with the instructions in order to achieve the best possible results.

Importance of dealing with incontinence

Incontinence is a common problem that can severely affect people's daily life. It is important to take the handling of incontinence seriously and to know the various treatment options. These can help to improve the quality of life of those affected.

One of the possibilities to cope with incontinence is toilet training. You learn to check the bubble and visit the toilet regularly to avoid uncontrolled urine loss. Another helpful approach is to guide a bladder diary. All information about visits to the toilet and the loss of urine is recorded in order to identify patterns and triggers. This can be prevented and reduced the urine loss.

In addition, a change in diet can help relieve the symptoms of incontinence. A fiber -rich diet can avoid constipation and thus reduce the pressure on the bladder. A moderate consumption of caffeinated drinks and alcohol can also make sense, as they can increase the urge to urinate.

Dealing with incontinence requires an individual approach in which different treatment options can be combined. However, the use of incontinence medication should always be discussed with a doctor in order to take into account possible side effects.

Overall, it is important to understand the importance of dealing with incontinence and use the various treatment options in order to facilitate everyday life despite the restrictions.

Causes of incontinence

Incontinence to hold back urine or bowel movements can have various causes. A common form is neurogenic incontinence caused by diseases of the nervous system. These can include stroke, dementia and multiple sclerosis.

A stroke can damage the nerves that are responsible for checking the bladder and lead to incontinence. Dementia influences the cognitive function and can lead to those affected forgot that they have to go to the toilet or how to use them. Multiple sclerosis affects the interaction of the nerves, which can lead to a disturbed bladder function.

Various medicines are recommended for the treatment of incontinence on a vegetable basis. Pumpkin seeds are rich in oils that can relax the muscle tissue and reduce the urinary frequency. Nettle root can help to strengthen the bladder muscles and thus improve control over the urinary flow. Due to their diuretic and anti -inflammatory properties, goldenrod is often used to treat urinary tract infections and incontinence. Hops contain essential oils that have a relaxing effect and can help relieve the bladder. Spice tumor has anti -inflammatory properties and can support the bladder function.

Overall, vegetable medicines offer a natural alternative to the treatment of incontinence and can help to alleviate the symptoms. However, it is important to consult a doctor before taking such preparations.

Overactive bladder

The overactive bladder is a medical state that is accompanied by frequent urge to urinate and the urgent need to go to the toilet. It can also lead to involuntary loss of urine, also known as urinary incontinence. The symptoms of the overactive bladder can very much affect daily life and often bring those affected to embarrassing situations.

The causes of an overactive bladder can be varied. Often it is due to an overactivity of the muscles of the bladder or a disturbed communication between the brain and bladder. It can also be caused by diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's or diabetes. Certain drugs and substances such as caffeine or alcohol can also increase the symptoms.

There are different treatment methods for the overactive bladder. Medications are often prescribed that can relax the bladder muscles and increase the bladder capacity. A change in lifestyle, such as avoiding irritating foods and drinks, can also help. In severe cases, drug treatment in combination with bladder training or bladder filling therapy may be required.

However, there are also possible complications in the treatment of the overactive bladder. Some drugs can have undesirable side effects, such as dryness in the mouth or constipation. In rare cases, there may be a hypersensitivity or intolerance of the medication. In addition, not all treatment methods are suitable for everyone and it may take some time to find the right therapy that effectively relieves the symptoms.

Overall, it is important to obtain medical advice if you notice symptoms of an overactive bladder, as there are different treatment options and an individual approach is required to improve the well -being of those affected.

Enlarged prostate

An enlarged prostate, also known as Benigne prostate hyperplasia (BPH), is a common illness in older men. The main cause of an enlarged prostate is hormonal because the prostate reacts to the male hormone testosterone. The hormone level increases with increasing age and the prostate grows. This enlargement can lead to various symptoms, including increased urge to urinate, difficulties when urinating, incomplete bladder emptying and frequent at night.

There are different treatment options for an enlarged prostate. Medicines such as alpha blockers can relieve the symptoms by relaxing the bladder muscles and improving urine flow. Another medication that is often used are so-called 5-alpha reducture seeds. These reduce the growth of the prostate, but can take a few months to develop their full effect.

Risk factors for an enlarged prostate are mainly the male gender and increasing age. There are various diagnostic methods to determine an enlarged prostate. This includes the physical examination in which the doctor scans the prostate and the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, which measures the PSA level in the blood. An ultrasound examination can also be carried out to determine the size of the prostate.

Overall, there are various causes, symptoms and treatment options for an enlarged prostate. It is important to see a doctor early to get the right diagnosis and treatment.

ExtraThral incontinence

The extra dairy incontinence is a form of urinary incontinence in which the urine flows out of the body in an unwanted way without passing the urethral entrance. This form of incontinence can have various causes, including neurological damage, anatomical defects or trauma in the pelvic area.

The connection between the background information and the extra dirthral incontinence is that this form of incontinence often arises due to the causes mentioned. Neurological damage, such as multiple sclerosis or a stroke, can affect control over the bladder muscles and the sphincter. Anatomical defects, such as a bladder neck closure or fistula formation, can lead to the urine leaving in unusual places. Trauma in the pelvic area, for example through an accident or an operation, can also lead to this form of incontinence.

In order to treat the extra dairy incontinence, various drugs are used, depending on the cause and severity of incontinence. For example, for neurological damage, medication can be used to strengthen the bladder muscles or to relax the sphincter. In anatomical defects or trauma, surgical interventions or certain drugs can be helpful to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

Overall, the extra dairy incontinence is a complex disease that can have different causes. Careful diagnosis and individual treatment are crucial to improve the quality of life of the people concerned.

Certain medication

Certain drugs can affect the bladder function and thus influence the symptoms of urinary incontinence. There are different types of medication that can act directly on the bladder or bladder locking muscle.

An example of this is anticholinergics. These drugs block the effect of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine on the bladder wall muscles. This blockade reduces the contraction of the bladder muscles and the bladder can absorb more urine before the urge to urinate uses. This can lead to patients less often to see the need to go to the toilet, and the urinary incontinence symptoms are improved.

Another example is alphablockers. These drugs act on the bladder sphincter by reducing the tension in the muscles. This relaxes the muscle and the urethra remains open so that the urine can flow more easily. This can lead to improvement in the symptoms in patients with urinary incontinence who have difficulty holding the urine due to an overactive bladder.

However, it is important to note that these medication can have different effects and side effects. For example, anticholinergics can cause dry mucous membranes, constipation and fatigue. Alphablockers, on the other hand, can lead to low blood pressure, dizziness and drowsiness.

The effects and side effects of the medication concerned should therefore be carefully weighed in order to ensure the best possible treatment of urinary incontinence.

Abdominal pressure

The abdominal pressure describes the pressure within the abdominal cavity, which arises from the contraction of the abdominal muscles and the pressing of the internal organs. It plays an important role for the body because it fulfills different functions.

On the one hand, the abdominal pressure is responsible for stabilizing the spine. By producing a high pressure in the abdominal cavity, the load is reduced to the intervertebral discs and the spine is brought into an upright position.

Furthermore, the abdominal pressure serves to support breathing and blood flow. By tensioning the abdominal muscles, the diaphragm is pressed upwards, which leads to a deepened inhalation. In addition, the venous return flow from the legs and the pool to the heart is facilitated.

Different causes can lead to increased abdominal pressure. Obesity, pregnancy, chronic constipation, inguinal hernia operation or strong pressing during bowel movements are just a few examples of this.

In order to regulate abdominal pressure, a abdominal impression belt can be used. This belt is placed around the belly and through its compression effect, it supports the abdominal muscles in regulating the pressure in the abdominal cavity. Thus, with various incontinence problems, such as stress incontinence, bladder weakness or stool incontinence, it can offer effective help.

In summary, abdominal pressure plays an important role for the body and is essential for stabilizing the spine, breathing and blood flow. A abdominal impression belt can help regulate the pressure in the abdominal cavity and thus offer support for various forms of incontinence.

Types of medication against incontinence

Introduction:

Incontinence is a widespread medical problem that can affect people of all ages and gender. It is defined as the uncontrollable loss of urine or chair, which can lead to considerable inconvenience and restrictions in everyday life. Fortunately, there are different types of medication that were specially developed to alleviate the symptoms of incontinence and improve the quality of life of those affected. These drugs act in different ways and aim to treat the cause of incontinence or to improve the bladder control. Some of the most common types of medication against incontinence are presented below.

1. Anticholinergics: These drugs block the effect of neurotransmitter acetylcholin, which is responsible for the contraction of the bladder. This relaxes the bladder muscles and the frequency of urge to urinate and involuntary loss of urine is reduced.

2. Muscarin receptor agonists: These drugs bind to muscarine receptors in the bladder wall and thus increase the contraction of the bladder muscles. This improves the urinary flow and control over the bladder is strengthened.

3. Alpha-adrenozeptor antagonists: These medication work by relaxing the muscles in the urethra and thereby improve the bladder control. They are often used to treat urge incontinence.

4. Estrogen preparations: In women, incontinence can sometimes be caused by the lack of estrogen. Estrogen preparations can strengthen the vaginal skin and tighten the urethra to reduce the risk of urinary loss.

It is important to note that choosing the right drug depends on various factors, such as the type of incontinence, the individual symptoms and possible side effects. A doctor or specialist can make a precise diagnosis and recommend the suitable treatment option.

Medicines for overactive bubble

An overactive bladder can be a stressful problem that affects a person's quality of life. Fortunately, there are medication that can help relieve the symptoms.

There are various drugs to treat an overactive bladder that relax the bladder muscles and enable better control. Examples of this are anticholinergics such as Oxybutynin or Tolterodin. However, these drugs can have side effects such as drying the mouth, constipation and blurred seeing.

There are also alternative treatment methods for overactive bladder, such as physiotherapy and pelvic floor training. These approaches aim to strengthen the muscles and nerves in the pelvic area and achieve better bladder control. However, it is important to note that the individual dosage and treatment should be discussed with a doctor in order to determine the best option for the individual patient.

In summary, it can be said that there are medication that can help with an overactive bladder, but you can have side effects. Alternatively, techniques such as pelvic floor training can be an effective option. However, individual doses and treatment should always be discussed with a doctor in order to find the best possible solution.

What do drugs in urinary incontinence do?

Medicines play an important role in the treatment of urinary incontinence. You can help reduce the symptoms and improve the quality of life of those affected.

There are various drugs used in the treatment of urinary incontinence. A widespread drug is, for example, the so -called anticholinergic. These drugs block the effect of the neurotransmitter acetylcholin, which is responsible for bladder contraction. By inhibiting the bladder muscles, the urge to urinate is reduced and control over the bladder is improved.

Another medication used to treat urinary incontinence is the alpha adenoceptor agonist. This drug acts on the receptors in the bladder wall and relaxes the muscles, which increases the bladder capacity and reduces urine loss.

However, side effects can also occur when taking medication for the treatment of urinary incontinence. This includes, for example, dry mouth, constipation, visual disturbances or palpitations. It is important to discuss possible side effects with the doctor and, if necessary, adapt the medication.

Overall, medication in urinary incontinence offers an effective treatment option. The choice of the right drug depends on the individual situation and the specific symptoms. It is important to know the different drugs and talk to a doctor about the best possible treatment.

This is how you relieve your symptoms

Harn incontinence is a common problem with dogs and can have different causes. Based on the background information, the most common risk factors for urinary incontinence in dogs can be identified.

Castration is an important risk factor for urinary incontinence in female dogs. Due to the castration, the urethral sphincter can be weakened, which means that the dog loses urine uncontrolled.

Another risk factor is the advanced age. With increasing age, the muscles and fabrics in the pelvic area become weaker, which can lead to an increased probability of urinary incontinence.

The female gender is also associated with an increased risk of urinary incontinence. This is because bitches have anatomically a shorter urethra than male, which can lead to an increased susceptibility to urinary incontinence.

Obesity is another risk factor for urinary incontinence in dogs. The additional weight loads the pelvic muscles and increases the pressure on the bladder, which can lead to a weakening of the urethral closing muscle.

After all, the size of the dog can also be a risk factor. Small breeds have an increased risk of urinary incontinence due to their smaller bladder.

In order to alleviate urinary incontinence in dogs, there are various medications that strengthen the urethral closing muscle and thus improve control over urine. These drugs can be administered in the form of tablets or injections and should only be used after consultation with a veterinarian. Regular control and examination at the vet is important in order to check the effectiveness of the medication and, if necessary, adapt the treatment.

Therapy differs depending on the cause of incontinence

Incontinence is an illness that leads to an uncontrolled loss of urine or chair. The causes of incontinence can be varied and range from age-related changes in the bladder and pelvic floor muscles to neurological diseases such as Parkinson's syndrome.

The therapy options for incontinence differ depending on the cause of the disease. In easy cases, strengthening the pelvic floor muscles can be sufficient with targeted exercises. Here, physiotherapists or pelvic floor trainers can support.

In more severe cases, drug treatment can be useful. There are special bladder-weak drugs that serve to regulate the activity of the bladder muscles and control the urge to urinate. When choosing these medication, it is important that they are individually tailored to the patient. Not every medication is suitable for any form of incontinence, so precise diagnosis and advice from a specialist is important.

In addition to the medication, there are also alternative treatment options such as the use of pelvic floor training devices or biofeedback therapy. These methods can help improve the bladder control and relieve the symptoms of incontinence.

Overall, it is important that therapy is individually tailored to the patient when incontinent. The selection of the treatment options depends on the cause of incontinence and should take place in close cooperation with a specialist. This is the only way to ensure effective and suitable therapy.

Important active ingredients and drug groups

Important active ingredients and drug groups for the treatment of urinary incontinence

The treatment of urinary incontinence includes various drugs that can be used depending on the type of incontinence. The most important active ingredients and drug groups are:

1. Exposure/stress incontinence: For this form of incontinence, in which urinary loss occurs in the event of physical exertion or stress, anticholinergics or alpha adenoceptor agonists are usually used. These drugs have a relaxing effect on the bladder muscles and thus reducing incontinence complaints.

2. Urge incontinence: If urinary incontinence goes hand in hand with a sudden, strong urge to urinate, anticholinergics or beta-3 adrenoceptor agonists such as Mirabegron can be prescribed. These drugs affect the bladder muscles by inhibiting their contraction and thus reducing urge to urinate.

In addition, antibiotic drugs can be used in some cases to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections. Estrogens are sometimes used in women with urinary incontinence because they can strengthen the mucous membranes of the urinary tract and alleviate the symptoms.

Overall, there are different drug groups that can be used to treat the different forms of urinary incontinence. The choice of drug depends on the individual situation and the patient's symptoms. It is important that treatment takes place in close consultation with a doctor to ensure the best and most effective therapy.

How do anticholinergics work in urge incontinence?

Anticholinergics are medication used to treat urge incontinence. They work by blocking the effect of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that binds to certain receptors in the bladder wall and thus leads muscle cells to contraction.

Acetylcholine binds to Muscarinian receptors in the bladder wall and activates them. As a result, the smooth muscles of the bladder contract, which leads to an involuntary urge to urinate and possibly to incontinence.

Anticholinergics work by blocking the binding of acetylcholine to these receptors. This reduces the contraction of the bladder muscles and reduces the involuntary urge to urinate.

The specific anticholinergics that are used to treat the overactive bladder include active ingredients such as oxybutynin, tolterodine and Solifenacin. These drugs have similar mechanisms of action and can effectively be used to relieve urge incontinence symptoms.

An alternative option to treat the overactive bladder is the Mirabegron medication, which acts as a beta-3 adrenoceptor agonist. It increases the bladder capacity by relaxing the bladder muscles and thus reducing the urge to urinate. Mirabegron can be effective in patients in whom anticholinergics are not well tolerated or not sufficient.

Overall, anticholinergics are effective medication for the treatment of urge incontinence by reducing the contraction of the bladder muscles. There are also alternative options like Mirabegron that have a similar effect.

Side effects of medication for bladder weakness

Medicines against bladder weakness can be effective, but you can also have certain side effects. Some frequent side effects are dry mouth, constipation, dizziness and nausea. In order to minimize these side effects, patients should have enough fluid and comply with a fiber -rich diet. It is also important to get up slowly to avoid feelings of dizziness.

The right dosage is of great importance when taking medication against bladder weakness. Too high dosage can increase the side effects, while too low dosage may not have sufficient effects against the symptoms. It is therefore essential to follow the doctor's dosing instructions carefully and to consult questions or uncertainties.

Self -medication carries risks, especially for older people who already suffer from several diseases. Medicines against bladder weakness can interact with other medication or previous illnesses, which can lead to unwanted effects. Therefore, older people should be particularly careful and always consult a doctor before taking such medication.

Overall, medication against bladder weakness can help relieve the symptoms, but it is important to know the possible side effects and to minimize them. Compliance with the correct dosage and consultation of a doctor are indispensable to ensure safe and effective treatment. Self -medication should be avoided, especially among older people who suffer from several diseases.

Effect without side effects: pelvic floor training

Introduction:

Incontinence is a common problem that affects the quality of life of millions of people worldwide. Fortunately, there are various drugs and treatments that can help relieve the symptoms of incontinence and improve the bladder control. The pelvic floor training is an effective and safe option without side effects. This targeted training aims to strengthen and support the muscles in the pelvic floor in order to achieve better control over the bubble. Through regular and correct training, the affected people can learn to actively activate their pelvic floor muscles and use them effectively in order to reduce or even remove incontinence symptoms. The pelvic floor training has the advantage that it does not cause side effects and can be integrated well into everyday life. It can be carried out at home and does not require expensive devices or medication. Pelvic floor training is a natural and gentle method to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and regain control of the bladder. It is therefore a recommended option for people who are looking for an effective and side -effect -free treatment option for their incontinence.

Some medication used to treat urinary incontinence

Some medications used to treat urinary incontinence include anticholinergics, alpha blockers, beta-3 agonists and hormone therapies.

Anticholinergics are medication that should increase the muscle tone of the bladder and thus improve control over urine. They block the effect of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which usually stimulates the bladder muscles for contraction. Examples of anticholinergics are Oxybutynin and Tolterodin. However, these drugs can also cause side effects such as dry mouth, constipation and blurred vision.

Alpha blockers are used to treat so-called urge incontinence. They relax the muscles of the bladder neck region and the prostate tissue in men. This makes the urinary flow easier and relieves the symptoms of urinary incontinence. A well-known alpha blocker is tamsulosine.

Beta-3 agonists act on the bladder muscles and relax to improve control over urine. Such drugs selectively act on the beta-3 receptors that can be found in the bladder wall. An example of a beta-3 agonist is Mirabegron.

Hormone therapies are sometimes used in women, especially when urinary incontinence is related to low estrogen levels. The therapy aims to increase the estrogen levels in the body and thus support the bladder function.

It is important to note that every medication for the treatment of urinary incontinence has different effects and possible side effects. The choice of the right drug should be made in consultation with a doctor.

Muscarine receptor antagonists

Muscarine receptor antagonists are medication used to treat urge incontinence. This type of incontinence is caused by the uncontrolled contraction of the bladder wall, which leads to a sudden, strong urge to urinate. Muscarine receptor antagonists block the activity of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine on the muscarine receptors in the bladder wall.

The blockade of these receptors is inhibited the contraction of the bladder wall, which enables controlled emptying of the bladder. This reduces the sudden urge to urinate and enables those affected better control over their bladder. Muscarine receptor antagonists are also used in Nykturia, a form of incontinence in which excessive nightly urine production leads to nightly urination.

There are different types of muscarine receptor antagonists who are used to treat urge incontinence. Some examples are Darifenacin, Fesoterodin, Solifenacin, Tolterodin and Trospium Chloride. Each of these active ingredients has a slightly different mode of action, but their main mechanism is to block the muscarine receptors in the bladder wall and thus inhibit their contraction.

Overall, muscarine receptor antagonists are an important option for the treatment of urge incontinence and nykturia. They offer those affected a way to better control their urge to urinate and prevent uncontrolled bladder emptying. When choosing a suitable drug, it is important to take into account the individual needs and possible side effects.

Mirabron

Mirabegron is a medication that acts as a beta-3 receptor agonist and relaxes the bladder muscle to enlarge the capacity of the bladder. It is used to treat urinary incontinence, especially if the symptoms among the usual medication such as: B. Muskarinergic receptor antagonists (MRAS) have not improved.

Mirabegron offers possible advantages over MRAS. It does not affect the Muskarinergic receptor, but on the beta-3 receptor. This reduces the contraction of the bladder muscle, which leads to an enlargement of the bladder capacity. This can reduce the frequency of urge to urinate and the urge to empty the bladder.

Although Mirabegron is considered a promising option to treat urinary incontinence, the long -term side effects have not yet been fully clarified. Particular caution is advised in patients who suffer from high blood pressure, severe cardiovascular diseases or liver diseases. It is important that the use of Mirabegron is under medical supervision to minimize possible risks.

Overall, Mirabegron is a promising treatment option for urinary incontinence, especially in patients in whom conventional drugs are not sufficiently effective. However, the exact application and dosage should always be discussed with a doctor to ensure individually adapted therapy.

estrogen

Estrogen plays an important role in female continence. It is a hormone that is responsible for the development and maintenance of the female reproductive organs. It also affects the bladder and the pelvic floor that are important for the control of the urinary flow.

A low estrogen level can lead to problems with the bladder control. This is because estrogen regulates the blood circulation and function of the bladder. If the estrogen level drops, the bladder muscles may weaken. This in turn can lead to incontinence, since the muscles are no longer able to correctly control the urinary flow.

There are various treatment options with estrogen for women with problems with the bladder control. One possibility is the local application of estrogen creams or gels in the vagina. This can help improve the elasticity of the bladder and the pelvic floor. Another option is systemic hormone replacement therapy, in which estrogen is taken into tablet or paving shape.

However, it is important to note that the long -term side effects of estrogen are still being researched. There is indications that long-term use of estrogen can increase the risk of certain types of cancer, cardiovascular diseases and blood clots. Therefore, every treatment with estrogen should always be weighed individually and discussed with a doctor.

Overall, estrogen plays an important role in female continence and can be an effective treatment option in the event of problems with the bladder control. However, it is important to take into account the potential long -term side effects and to carry out the treatment under medical supervision.

Desmopressin

Desmopressin is a medication used to treat incontinence. It is a synthetic analogue of the antiuretic hormone vasopressin that regulates the body's water balance. Desmopressin can help reduce the production of urine and thus relieve the symptoms of incontinence.

There are various forms of dosage of Desmopressin, including tablets, nasal spray and injection solution. The choice of the dosage form depends on the individual situation and the needs of the patient. Tablets are usually taken orally, while the nasal spray is sprayed into the nose. The injection solution is given either subcutaneously or intravenously.

As with most medication, side effects can also occur when taking Desmopressin. The most common side effects include headaches, dizziness, nausea and abdominal cramps. In rare cases, more serious side effects such as a low sodium level in the blood can occur, which can lead to a life -threatening situation.

Before taking desmopressin, it is important to carry out a medical consultation. The doctor can define the correct dosage and dosage form and clarify any risks and side effects. Desmopressin is an effective medication for the treatment of incontinence, but an individual weighing up of the risks and advantages is essential. It is therefore advisable to consult a doctor before starting treatment.

Duloxetine

Duloxetine is a medication used to treat stress and stress incontinence. It works by inhibiting the resumption of certain messenger substances in the brain, namely serotonin and noradrenaline. This improves the signal transmission between the nerve cells, which leads to strengthening the bladder's sphincter.

The use of duloxetine for the treatment of stress and stress incontinence takes place in the form of tablets that are taken orally. The usual recommended dose is 40 mg per day, divided into two individual doses.

Different side effects can occur when taking duloxetine. Frequent side effects include nausea, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea and fatigue. Occasionally dizziness, headache, sleep problems, increased blood pressure and sexual dysfunction can also occur. Allergic reactions or increased liver enzyme values rarely occur, which could indicate potentially serious liver damage.

Since duloxetine can also influence the mood, patients with depression or anxiety disorders should be particularly careful and inform their doctor about their history.

Overall, Duloxetin is an effective drug for the treatment of stress and stress incontinence. However, it is important that patients are aware that side effects can occur. Therefore, the application should be carried out under medical supervision.
