Ambroxol AL 30 in detail
For mucus clearance in respiratory diseases with thick mucus.
Active substance:
30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride.
Excipients:
Crospovidone, silicon dioxide hydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K25, vegetable magnesium stearate, soluble starch, maize starch, lactose-1-water, povidone K90.
Indications:
For the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases with sputum production.
Dosage:
- Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age: 1 tablet three times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 1 tablet twice a day.
- Children from 6 to 12 years: half a tablet 2-3 times a day.
Directions for use:
Take unchewed with sufficient liquid after meals. Tablet can be divided into equal doses.
Duration of use:
If the clinical picture does not improve or worsens after 4-5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
Note:
The effectiveness can be increased by increasing the dosage to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice daily.
