Avène XeraCalm A.D Balm against itching and for the care of neurodermatitis in detail
The Avène XeraCalm A.D Balm is a highly compatible face and body care specially developed for very dry skin, atopic skin conditions, neurodermatitis and age-related xerosis. It is suitable for babies from the age of one month and comes in a sterile pump dispenser for easy dosing and hygienic dispensing.
The balm's formula is based on tried-and-tested Avène Thermal Water, which is known for its soothing, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties. A CER-OMEGA lipid complex with unsaturated omega-6 fatty acids strengthens the skin barrier, nourishes the skin and promotes its regeneration.
The centrepiece of XeraCalm A.D balm is the innovative active ingredient I-modulia®, which was developed from the microflora of Avène thermal water. It soothes itching, calms redness and strengthens the skin's immune defences to prevent bacterial infections.
The use of the balm intensively nourishes, moisturises and soothes the skin. It also helps to extend the treatment-free intervals for atopic skin conditions.
The Avène XeraCalm A.D Balm is applied once or twice daily to very dry areas of the face and body after cleansing the skin with XeraCalm A.D Cleansing Oil beforehand.
The composition of the balm includes Avène Thermal Water, Paraffinum Liquidum, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Evening Primrose Oil and Tocopherol.
