Erler Zimmer arm for arterial puncture in detail
This practical training model is perfect for practising and demonstrating blood sampling and blood gas analysis. The sites for the puncture can be determined by palpating the pulse of the radial and brachial arteries. Due to the realistic pressure in the arteries, the blood flows realistically back into the syringe. This also confirms that the needle has been correctly inserted into the artery. The set is supplied with three syringes and tubes, artificial arterial blood, two replacement arterial sections and a transport case.
