Erler Zimmer "Emily" K9 dog positioning manikin in detail
The correct positioning of an animal is an important skill for a professional vet. The "Emily" model was developed to train this skill. With "Emily" you can learn how to position dogs correctly for various medical procedures such as abdominal surgery, X-rays, castration and sterilisation, spinal stabilisation and supine positioning. The model moves naturally and provides natural-looking resistance so you can practice handling in a safe environment before working with real animals.
"Emily" is fully articulated and has shoulders and hips that can be realistically rotated through 90°. The knees, elbows, carpal and hock joints can also be moved through 90°. The product comes with a practical carrying bag, knee pads and a brush to ensure easy storage and care.
