Product details & mandatory information
Erler Zimmer skeleton "Willi" in detail
Our Erler Zimmer skeletons are precise replicas of natural skeletons of the highest quality and detail. Made of durable plastic, these models show all anatomical features, structures, cracks, openings and appendages. Each bone is individually manufactured and carefully assembled. The hands and feet are flexibly mounted on wire, while the arms, legs and skull are easily removable and can be partially dismantled. The sturdy 5-beam castor stand ensures a secure hold and makes it easy to transport from room to room.
Complete skull
Our three-part skull has been digitised and precisely adapted to the standard anatomy. It corresponds to the average European size and contains all important structures, fissures, openings and appendages. The skull is divided into skull base, lower jaw and skull roof. The skullcap is aligned with metal pins at the base of the skull and is held securely in place by magnets. Unlike many other skulls, there are no breakable pins or interfering locking hooks.
Sliding joints
The shoulder and hip are assembled without interfering metal parts and enable both rotational and sliding movements in the joint. The joint surfaces glide directly over each other and, for the first time, allow all sliding and traction movements to be visualised according to manual principles and biomechanics.
Movable shoulder blades
The shoulder blades are designed to move with the arm movements to illustrate the natural sequence of movements.
Flexible ankle joint
The upper ankle joint is mounted with rubber and allows unrestricted movement. The foot can be easily removed, for example for transport to teaching events.
