This self-adhesive wound shows an ulcus cruris arteriosum in the exudation phase, a tissue defect in the lower leg due to peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD). Due to a lack of blood and oxygen supply, wound healing is impaired and even minor injuries can lead to chronic wounds. This moulage shows the death of tissue with extensive necrosis. It is very well suited for application to the lower leg and adheres by itself. Special skin adhesive can be used for long-lasting attachment. All materials used are dermatologically safe.
