Prepare the tea and drink it straight away. Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over the tea and strain it through a tea strainer after about 10-15 minutes.

How do the ingredients of the medicine work?
The ingredients come from the hop plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:
- Appearance: perennial climbing plant up to 12 m tall; the leaves are deeply lobed, male and female flowers are on separate plants; very strong odour
- Occurrence: Asia, Europe, North America
- Main ingredients: Hop bitters (humulone, lupulone), essential oils (caryophyllene, myrcene), methylbutenol
- Plant parts and preparations used: mainly extracts and tinctures of the dried female inflorescences.
Animal experiments have shown that methylbutenol and myrcene have soporific properties. The hop bitter substances humulone and lupulone inhibit the growth of germs. As bitter substances, they also stimulate the appetite.
