L-lysine is an essential amino acid that the body does not produce itself and must therefore absorb through food. This amino acid is important for the body as it helps to build collagen. L-lysine also plays a role in the synthesis of carnitine and supports the effect of arginine as well as the absorption of calcium.
The importance of L-lysine among amino acids can be compared to the importance of vitamin C among vitamins. Our product contains 100% pure L-lysine HCL powder.
The recommended daily intake is: Take 1 x 2 g powder or 1 x 2 vital measuring spoons (included) mixed with water or juice. Take care not to exceed the recommended intake. Please note that food supplements cannot replace a healthy, varied and balanced diet.
Effects on the blood clotting properties of lysine make it unsuitable for pregnant women. Likewise, people undergoing surgery should not take lysine. Store the product in a cool and dry place.
