Salus® Floradix® Lactoferrin 100 mg in detail
Floradix Lactoferrin from Salus is a dietary food for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia, including inflammation-related forms. It contains 250 mg protein (whey) and 0.7 mg sodium ion as active ingredients. The ingredients include hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, starch and calcium carbonate.
Our body needs iron for a healthy metabolism. The intestine plays a crucial role in this, as it absorbs iron from food into the blood. However, some people do not absorb iron efficiently and therefore have an iron deficiency.
The iron-binding protein lactoferrin can help to improve the absorption of iron. It promotes the transfer of iron from the intestine into the blood. Floradix Lactoferrin is suitable for the dietary treatment of iron deficiency anaemia, including inflammation-related forms.

Floradix Lactoferrin is used as a dietary food for special medical purposes. It is intended for the dietary treatment of diagnosed iron deficiency anaemia, including inflammation-related forms.
The list of ingredients contains lactoferrin from freeze-dried cow's milk, starch, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), cellulose as bulking agent, magnesium salts of fatty acids as anti-caking agent and titanium dioxide as colouring agent.
The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules, twice daily. Please note that Floradix Lactoferrin should only be used under medical supervision and is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Floradix Lactoferrin should be stored out of the reach of children and kept at room temperature below 25 °C. Each pack contains 30 capsules with a net quantity of 9.7 g.
